Mark is an entrepreneur with over 20 years professional experience in the fields of commercial strategy, mergers & acquisitions, media buying, programmatic technology and advertising operations.
Since launching his first venture in 2001, Mark has been a first mover in some of the most significant changes to hit digital advertising. Over a varied career, Mark has remained at the forefront of digital and programmatic technologies for both media buying and selling, working hands on with leading ad-tech platforms.
In 2007 Mark sold his company NASH to Media Corporation plc, an AIM listed company on the London Stock Exchange for which he subsequently served as a Board Member. As Managing Director of Eyeconomy Ltd, the online advertising division, he launched the IASH network offering, secured key publisher contracts such as Northern & Shell Media Group, and served on the steering committee for the Digital Trading Standards Group (DTSG).
In 2013 Mark launched SEVENTURES Lab, a business accelerator working with early stage digital companies. SEVENTURES has supported a number of projects including The AOP Alliance (Symmachia). Mark led the contract to deliver an operational framework for the group, which included AOP UK members such as Telegraph Media Group, Future Publishing, and Time Inc. Mark also served as an early advisor and investor to The Publisher Trading Desk Ltd, the first trading desk to specialize in programmatic supply and monetization strategy.
